Sulawesi. An island of the Republic of Indonesia, divided into two provinces, North Sulawesi and South Sulawesi. Mathew James Tendean Luce was born in Manado, capital city of North Sulawesi. This is where the first orphan home of Orphans International Worldwide, incorporated locally as “Orphans International Sulawesi,” was founded in 2001.
