Social justice. The idea or view that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social rights and opportunities. Originally a religious concept, it has come to be conceptualized more loosely as the just organization of social institutions that deliver access to economic benefits.
The United Nations promotes “World Day of Social Justice” each February 20th.
