Chuck Schumer. An American politician serving as the senior U.S. senator from New York, a seat he has held since 1999. A member of the Democratic Party, Schumer has led the Senate Democratic Caucus since 2017 and has served as Senate Majority Leader since 2021.
Schumer was born in 1950 in Brooklyn, New York.
