    Colin Powell (1937-2021, age 84). An American politician, statesman, diplomat, and U.S. Army officer who was the 65th United States secretary of state from 2001 to 2005. He was the first Black secretary of state.

    The son of Jamaican immigrants to America, he was born in Harlem, New York City, he died at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
