    Itzhak Perlman (b.1945). An Israeli American violinist renowned for his exceptional technique and tone. He overcame polio in his youth to become one of the most celebrated violinists of his time. Perlman has performed with major orchestras worldwide and has received numerous awards, including multiple Grammys. He studied at Brooklyn College.
