    Oneworld. A global airline alliance that connects some of the world’s leading airlines to provide passengers with seamless travel and extensive route networks. Founded on February 1, 1999, it is one of the three major airline alliances, alongside Star Alliance and SkyTeam.

    History and Formation

    Oneworld was established by founding members American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Qantas, with the aim of offering coordinated services and benefits to international travelers. Over the years, the alliance has expanded its membership, adding key carriers to enhance its global reach.
