New York Conservatory of Dance

New York Conservatory of Dance. A Dance Company run from the Madison Avenue Baptist Church on East 31st Street in Manhattan with private lessons as well as a dance program for children in need. It was run by Diana Byer.

NYCD is now known as The Dokoudovsky New York Conservatory of Dance, named after legendary dancer and teacher Vladimir Dokoudovsky who was a soloist with Ballet Russe de Montecarlo. Dokoudovsky coached at the 31st location for decades.
