Metropolitan Museum of Art

Metropolitan Museum of Art (“The Met”). An encyclopedic art museum in New York City. It is the largest art museum in the Americas and the fourth-largest in the world. Founded in 1870 and located in Central Park, the museum has a collection of 2 million pieces and has over 5 million visitors a year.
