Luce, Henry III

Henry Luce III (1925-2005, age 80). Know as “Hank.” Philanthropist with multiple roles with Time, Inc. After serving in World War II as a naval officer on a destroyer in the Pacific, Henry Luce III graduated from Yale in 1945. His first postwar job was as an assistant to Joseph P. Kennedy, patriarch of the political family and then a member of the first Hoover Commission.
