Jason Wu (b.1982). A Taiwanese Canadian fashion designer celebrated for his sophisticated and elegant designs. Wu was born on in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to Canada at a young age. Later, he studied at Parsons School of Design in New York City. He gained international acclaim when Michelle Obama wore one of his gowns to the 2009 inaugural ball. Wu‘s designs are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and timeless appeal. These qualities make him a favorite among high-profile clients. He is also popular with fashion enthusiasts alike.
Wu, who is openly gay, married Gustavo Rangel in 2016 in Mexico.
