Haruki Murakami Library (Waseda)
In 2018, Haruki Murakami announced that he would be donating his manuscripts, vinyl records, and other materials to Waseda University, his alma mater in Tokyo. This led to the establishment of the Waseda International House of Literature, also known as the Haruki Murakami Library, which opened in 2021.
