Haitian United Foundation – Saving one child at a time!

Founded in 2005 in the U.S., the Haitian United Foundation has been working nationally along side other organizations to better the children of Haiti.

After the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, it was evident that we foster a helping hand in rebuilding the country. The Foundation worked to provide and administer the delivery of food, clothing, and medical care to those in need.

Then Haiti was hit once again with cholera and due to this devastating effect, the began to sponsor an orphanage for children who became homeless due to the earthquake and who also suffered loss due to the cholera epidemic.

Haiti then suffered enormous violence, with kidnapping, lack of leadership, assassination of the president, closed schools and hospitals, and constant electrical blackouts making life difficult.

HUF vision. The organization believes that the children are the future of humanity. To give them a chance, they work to build a state of the art orphanage institution for these less fortunate. Their motto: ‘Together, we can save one child at a time!’
