    Ennepetal. A town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany with a population of 30,000. It was created in 1949 out of the former municipalities Milspe and Voerde. It was named after the river Ennepe, which flows through the municipality.

    It’s slogan in the 1970’s was “Ennepetal – eine Stadt will deine Freundin sein,” ‘A city that wants to be you friend.’
