    Robert De Niro, Jr. An American actor, producer, and director. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation, known for his intense method acting, versatility, and dedication to his craft. De Niro has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.  

    Early Life and Career:

    De Niro was born in New York City, the son of painters Virginia Admiral and Robert De Niro Sr. He studied acting at the Stella Adler Conservatory and the American Workshop. He made his film debut at the age of 20 in Brian De Palma‘s The Wedding Party (1969), though it was filmed in 1963. He then worked in several off-Broadway productions and low-budget films.

    De Niro’s breakthrough role came in Bang the Drum Slowly (1973), where he played a dying baseball player. His career took a significant turn when he began his long-lasting collaboration with director Martin Scorsese.
