Anderson Cooper (b. 1967). An American broadcast journalist and political commentator currently anchoring the CNN news broadcast show Anderson Cooper 360°. He also co-hosts CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute, a television special to honor individuals who make extraordinary contributions to humanity with Kelly Ripa.
In addition to his duties at CNN, Cooper serves as a correspondent for 60 Minutes, produced by CBS News.
Anderson, son of Gloria Vanderbilt, graduated from Yale University. Although never married, he dated bar owner Benjamin Maisani. Following their romantic split they reunited as friends to parent two boys together.
