China. Connotes both the People’s Republic of China (PRC/”Mainland”) and Republic of China (ROC/Taiwan).
The position of the PRC and ROC remains that there is only one sovereign entity of China, and that each of them represents the legitimate government of all of China—including both mainland China and Taiwan—and the other is illegitimate.
