Ben Chatag (b.xxxx). A Tibetan American painter based in New York City. Born in Lhasa, Tibet and raised in Northern India, Chatag discovered his passion for painting at a very young age and decided to invest his time into mastering his craft.

After studying traditional Tibetan Thangka painting at the Thangde Gatsul Painting School in Dharamsala, India, Chatag completed a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Studio Art at Marymount Manhattan College in New York.

This aspiring, talented artist is also dedicated to supporting young global leadership impacting social change. Before the Pandemic he served as a Global Advisor to The James Jay Dudley Luce Foundation, a New York-based nonprofit, and continues to mentor generations of the foundation’s young global leaders.
