Roger Altman (b.1946). An American investment banker, the founder and senior chairman of Evercore, and a former Democratic politician. From 1993-94, he served as U.S. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury under President Bill Clinton.
After a career with Lehman Brothers, he founded Evercore. He also founded the Hamilton Project.
He was born in Brookline,Massachusetts. He married Jurate Kazickas in 1981.
He was educated at The Roxbury Latin School, Georgetown University, and The University of Chicago.
