International Day of Charity. September 5 annually and is designated by the United Nations as an International Observance. The date of September 5 commemorates the anniversary of the passing of Mother Teresa of Calcutta who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. 

The International Day of Charity is a day to be philanthropic and help others through volunteering and service
