Norbert Heerman (1891-1966). A German American painter born in Frankfurt, Germany and living in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Heerman came to the U.S. with his family in the early 20th century. Heerman studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, in Paris and with Lovis Corinth in Berlin. He was the Arts Editor for the Cincinnati Inquirer for eight years.
