Ruby Dee (1922-2014, age 91). An American actor, poet, playwright, screenwriter, journalist, and civil rights activist. Dee married Ossie Davis in 1948 and frequently performed with him until his death in 2005.

Dee was born in Cleveland, Ohio and died in New Rochelle, New York.
